ServiceNow implementation and management: built around your processes, then run for you.
We implement ServiceNow in phases, connect it to your ERP, CRM, identity and monitoring tools, and then administer, upgrade and support it, so the platform keeps up with how your teams work.
Implementation
Implementation in phases, starting with one process
A ServiceNow implementation goes well when it starts small and specific: one process, such as IT incidents, service requests or employee onboarding, mapped as it really runs today and then configured on the platform. We agree the scope and how success will be measured, configure the workflow, forms and approvals, bring across the data you need, and train the people who will use it.
Each later phase adds a process on the same foundation, so the platform grows with use rather than in one large project that has to be right the first time.
What we do
- Discovery: the process as it runs today, and what success looks like
- Workflows, forms, approvals and notifications configured
- Data brought across from the tools ServiceNow replaces
- Training and hand-over for agents, requesters and administrators
Integrations
ServiceNow connected to the systems you already run
Much of the value of ServiceNow comes from what it is connected to. We integrate it with your ERP and CRM, so requests carry the right customer, order and asset data; with your identity provider, so access follows a person’s role; and with your monitoring tools, so alerts open incidents on their own and close them when the problem clears.
Integrations use ServiceNow’s APIs and integration tools where they fit, and a custom integration where they do not. Each one is logged and raises an alert when it fails, so a broken connection is fixed before anyone notices missing data. Our Systems Integration practice does this work across all the platforms we connect.
What we do
- ERP and CRM integration for customers, orders and assets
- Single sign-on and role-based access through your identity provider
- Monitoring alerts that open and close incidents
- Integration logs and failure alerts
Run and manage
Administration, upgrades and support after go-live
Once ServiceNow is live it needs looking after: new catalog items and access changes, reports, and the platform’s regular releases to test and apply. We take that on as part of our managed services, with people who know your configuration and a backlog you can see.
Each release is tested against your own workflows and integrations before it reaches production, so an upgrade does not break the processes your teams rely on.
What we do
- Users, groups, catalog items and reports
- Each ServiceNow release tested and applied
- Fixes and small changes from a shared backlog
- Regular checks on performance, data quality and license use
Automation
Workflow automation and agent-assisted triage
With the platform in place, routine work can come off people’s desks. Approvals and hand-offs between teams can run on their own with an audit trail, and AI agents can read incoming requests, classify and route them, fill in the fields, and pass anything unusual to a person. We build those agents the way we build all of ours: behind a safety gateway that limits what they can reach and do, with a log of everything they did.
What we do
- Approvals and hand-offs automated, with an audit trail
- Requests classified and routed as they arrive
- Exceptions handed to a person
- A safety gateway and a full activity log on every agent
Questions
Common questions
How long does a ServiceNow implementation take?
It depends on the processes in scope and the systems to connect. We plan the first phase, usually one process, with a clear scope and success measure, and plan each later phase once the first is in use.
Which systems can you integrate with ServiceNow?
Most systems with an API or a standard connector: ERP and CRM platforms, identity providers, monitoring and alerting tools, and HR systems. We use ServiceNow’s own integration tools where they fit and build a custom integration where they do not.
Can you take over a ServiceNow instance someone else implemented?
Yes. We start with a review of the configuration, the customizations and the upgrade history, fix what would get in the way of the next release, and then take over the day-to-day administration.
Is ServiceNow management part of your managed services?
Yes. ServiceNow administration, upgrades and support can be part of our managed services, alongside the rest of the IT we look after for you.
Implementing or running ServiceNow?
Tell us which processes you want on the platform, and we will tell you how we would approach the first phase.
