Job Title: SharePoint Architect

Location: 100% ONSITE – Albany, NY

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing SharePoint solutions, with proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net data objects, SharePoint Object Model, Visual Studio, and other related technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, installation, deployment, and administration, as well as the ability to design and customize SharePoint sites. Build, deploy and maintain SharePoint server 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 on premise farms and SharePoint 2016 online sites.


Development of Web Components:

  • Develop lists, libraries, web parts, workflows, and timer jobs for SharePoint sites using C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net data objects, SharePoint Object Model, Visual Studio 2010/2012, and out-of-the-box SharePoint components.

Installation, Deployment, and Configuration:

  • Perform installation, deployment, and configuration of SharePoint solution files and features via SharePoint Central Administration and PowerShell scripting.

Technical and Administrative Duties:

  • Execute technical and administrative duties related to business application support, problem and incident management.

SharePoint Designer Usage:

  • Utilize SharePoint Designer 2010 to create workflows, develop list forms, and customize websites.

Customization using JSOM, jQuery, CSOM, HTML5, and CSS:

  • Employ JSOM, jQuery, CSOM, HTML5, and CSS to customize SharePoint Online and enhance user experience.

Configuration of SharePoint Service Applications:

  • Configure SharePoint Service Applications such as Forms Services, Excel Services, User Profile Synchronization, Search, Business Data Catalog, and Web Services.

Administration Tasks:

  • Perform administration tasks including creating SharePoint site backups, restoring site collections, maintaining Web Front End servers and Application servers, and installing 3rd party add-on tools/products for SharePoint.

Enhancements and Issue Resolution:

  • Conduct enhancements and address issues related to existing custom components, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in SharePoint development, administration, and customization.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Visual Studio, SharePoint Object Model, JSOM, jQuery, CSOM, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and service applications.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and PowerShell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Position Requested Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years building and supporting business intelligence solutions using SharePoint.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, and SQL Server 2008 through 2016+, including Reporting Services.
  • 5 years building and supporting SharePoint infrastructures.
  • 2 years with SharePoint 2010 and 2013, including multi-server farm architectures.
  • 1 year with SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint 2019, including multi-server farm architectures.
  • 7 years building SharePoint applications, including web parts, workflows, and SilverLight interfaces.
