Job Title: Network Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Design, implement, and maintain robust secure network solutions including firewalls, VPNs (covering site-to-site, remote access, and cloud-based connections), and ACLs.
2.Monitor and manage LANs and WANs, including configuration and management of network devices.
3.Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless network integration and support.
4.Create, update, and maintain documentation of environment, network configuration, and operational procedures.
5.Collaborate with IT Security team to implement Network Access Control (NAC), access control lists (ACLs), firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, and developing network security policies and procedures.
6.Provide technical support to internal users and external stakeholders.
7.Provide project management for various network activities, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
8.Manage and optimize cloud network environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), including configuration, security, and resource optimization.
9.Collaborate with external clients throughout the network lifecycle, delivering reliable and secure solutions that address their specific needs, from initial assessment to successful change implementation.

Requirements & Skills:

oBachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications/training/experience in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
oMinimum 3-5 years in network engineering.
oExpert experience with firewall technologies
oFamiliarity with network security best practices and frameworks.
oStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
oHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and management tools.
oProven experience and success with LAN, WLAN, Firewalls and VPN design and implementation.
oProven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
oITIL® Foundation certification (Preferred).
oProfessional certification (ex: CCNA, CCSA, JNCIS-ENT, CompTIA Network+, GSEC) (Preferred).
oExperience managing cloud network environments (Azure, GCP, AWS preferred), and familiarity with cloud automation tools (Preferred).
