Job Title: IoT (Internet of Things) Solutions Intern

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Intern with a focus on Cisco IoT solutions to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in developing and implementing cutting-edge IoT solutions, particularly in the realm of smart cities and smart transportation, including smart buses. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of IoT development, with a specific emphasis on Cisco technologies such as cellular and WiFi networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on Cisco IoT Solutions: Work closely with our team to develop and deploy IoT solutions leveraging Cisco technologies, including Cisco Kinetic, Cisco Jasper, and Cisco DNA Spaces.
  • Smart City Solutions: Contribute to the development of IoT solutions for smart cities, focusing on areas such as smart infrastructure, environmental monitoring, and public safety.
  • Smart Transportation: Assist in designing and implementing IoT solutions for smart transportation systems, including smart buses. This may involve integrating sensors, cameras, and other IoT devices to enhance safety, efficiency, and passenger experience.
  • Cellular and WiFi Networks: Gain exposure to cellular and WiFi network technologies and their role in IoT deployments. Assist in configuring and optimizing network connectivity for IoT devices, particularly in outdoor and mobile environments.
  • Data Analytics: Support the collection, analysis, and visualization of data from IoT devices using Cisco’s data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IoT solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document the design, development, and testing processes, and contribute to technical reports and presentations as needed.


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of IoT concepts and technologies, with a specific interest in Cisco IoT solutions.
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies, including cellular and WiFi networks (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C/C++.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Prior experience with IoT projects or related internships (preferred, but not required).
