Cybersecurity Support Analyst


Position Type: W2/Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Support Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security issues, defining access privileges and control structures, and recognizing and reporting security problems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration, network security, and problem-solving, as well as a thorough understanding of information security policies, network protocols, and firewall administration. They should be comfortable with on-call network troubleshooting and have experience working with routers, hubs, and switches. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform others of system status is a must.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should be highly organized and have a strong focus on process improvement. They should be proactive in staying up to date with industry trends and advancements by attending educational workshops and reviewing relevant publications.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced certifications such as SANS GIACIAIH, CISSP or CASP, and/or SIEM-specific training and certification (preferred, but not required)


  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security issues
  • Define access privileges, control structures, and resources to protect the system
  • Recognize and report security problems and violations
  • Implement security improvements by assessing the current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
  • Conduct periodic audits to determine security violations and inefficiencies
