Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity/IT Intern to join our team and assist with various cybersecurity and IT projects. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong interest in cybersecurity and information technology. As a Cybersecurity/IT Intern, you will work alongside our experienced cybersecurity and IT professionals, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
• Support the implementation of security measures and procedures to protect company systems and data.
• Assist with incident response and investigation activities.
• Help maintain security documentation and records.
• Assist with network and system administration tasks.
• Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

• Evaluate software products 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
