I’m not sure, who is playing with the new TOY ? :). So far, I have installed HPNA v10.20 on my Home LAB. Its a straight forward installation and or upgrade process.
(I did both the upgrade and installation and verified it. It didn’t break anything either. )
2 Big and New Features in this Release:
1] MySQL is gone but HPNA v10.20 comes with Free/Open Source Postgres SQL. ( May be HPE don’t Like ORACLE’s Free DB. )
2] Security .. Security. HPE is lately concentrate a lot in Security aspects of HPNA. This version have Security Assertion Markup Language(SAML) 2.0 and Security leak in /etc/init.d/truecontrol start script is fixed and few Security related enhancements.
Overall, in my first hand prospective and opinion, HPNA v10.20 is a major security release !!!
